Excellent location if you like to be in the center. You can grab your breakfast anywhere on the street outside. Also plenty of places for lunch or dinner.
A perfect guest house. Rooms well designed and equipped, public area with mini bar and library, use of kitchenette. Good breakfast too, and friendly hosts
Lovely, huge room for a great value. Wonderful facilities in the room, and the view out into the courtyard/garden was absolutely beautiful. The breakfast was delicious and they gave me a coffee pot for my table, and the coffee was great. The inn had a restaurant downstairs and a terrace to eat outside on. A big parking lot and lovely staff. I stayed to visit Wartburg castle the next day, which was a quick drive. I would have stayed longer.
Welcoming hostess. Delicious breakfast. Clean and comfortable room! Close to the train! The castle bus, Christmas markets, dinners in a quint town and down town (which has everything from groceries to pharmaceuticals!) Just a 5-15 walk. We were more than delighted!
- Very spacious room and really big, comfy bed.
- Nice view looking over the Eisenach forests and seeing the Burschenschaftsdenkmal on the hill.
- Breakfast was adequate for a few nights stay and own ability to make freshly squeezed orange juice, plus requesting how you’d like your eggs cooked :)
- Only 15-20mins by foot into the old town to grab a Thüringer Bratwurst. For dinners, only 10mins drive to a few local, well known restaurants in the city.
Friendly staff in a pension setup little bit outside the city centre. Parking not on site (as mentioned on booking) but very possible in the surrounding area. Good point to go walking to local monument or Wartburg.
