Lovely location if you have a car to explore the location which has an extended rural town and a few minutes from the highway. I loved driving through the country roads. Very green and full of trees.

It seems to be a small, cosy, family owned & run hotel.
The location is off a busy road. The host kindly met me at the arrival, handed over the key and explained the location of the parking lot available.

Claudia was so sweet, she really made us feel at home! We ate dinner at the Gasthof and it was delicious. The breakfast was also great, with fresh fruit, yoghurt, boiled eggs and a big charcuterie plate! A must-visit if you are in Bad Höningen!

I loved the location. A beautiful house with a lot of history in the middle of a very nice park with huge old trees. The place just oozed character with creaky wooden floors, large staircases etc., but of course it is a matter of perspective because one can also call it outdated ;) We stayed in the tower room with a nice balcony overlooking the gardens. I also loved the baker down the road Ött super friendly man with delicious breads. There is no fuzz over check in or check out, as you receive clear instructions beforehand so you can just enter the room or leave the room when ready.
