Great location close to Freiburg, the Black Forest, Alsace region and Basel Switzerland as well the charming town of Staufen. The room was decorated lovely, with the reclaimed wood and the exposed stone. The host was friendly and helpful. We really liked the fact that they gave us a complimentary train ticket to use during our stay, which we used to take the train to Basel for the Christmas market. We definitely plan on staying here again in the summer to enjoy this wonderful region of Germany.

Breakfast was great, more than enough choices and great start for a day of walking. They were very kind and accomodating, especially with our dog. Dinner was great as well, they were flexible about our last-minute request to eat there.
