Perfect for rustic breaks in the countryside, an Inn is a small property with basic hotel services and typically traditional decor. Inns are fully licensed and have a bar providing food and drinks in the evening, which distinguishes them from country or guest houses.
The pension for me was very good. I slept very well - no noises coming from outside. I slept very well. The pension building is stylish - it resembles old DDR times. A very good relationship price/standard.
Ideal location for an overnight stop while traveling through this area.
The restaurant seems very nice, as it was crowded and fully booked. We had our already dinner somewhere else. If you consider it better make a reservation in advance.
A family run pension located in quit surroundings (the cafe is unfortunately temporarily closed), where we felt welcome and as part of the family. Nice newly renovated room with a good bed and nice bathroom. Personalized breakfast with preferred choice of eggs and coffee. A pleasure to stay with you both - thank you.

I was not able to find the accommodation in the beginning, as Google Maps did not show the precise location. Luckily, the owners were super friendly and kind. They explained everything in a detailed manner.
The room was very beautiful and clean. You open the window and you will see the incredibly magnificent castle view. There are many good restaurants nearby.
Highly recommended to those who have a car and want to travel in the Harz national park.
