The property is beautiful. Hardwood floors can make it a bit loud at times but all guests are really respectful of that. Very friendly animals on the property and the staff is more than willing to help you with booking tours or finding local places !

We had 2 bedrooms with each a bathroom. Very comfortable, no A/C but fans on ceiling which we did not even use because it gets much cooler at night. Beds are very comfortable, especially the ones with 2 double beds. Nice kitchen setting too. We had a BBQ, air dryer, nice bathrooms with hot water.

Stayed here two nights and it was a perfect relaxing spot. The cabin was very clean and had everything we needed in the small kitchen. The bed is comfortable with good quality sheets and blankets. There is a TV with Netflix for the evenings and the wifi works well. AC is cool and shower is hot.
The grounds are beautiful and the small pool was refreshing. The weather was cloudy most of the time we stayed but we did get a quick peek of the volcano. It’s RIGHT THERE. What a beautiful view! I spent a lot of time reading on the small terrace and bird watching.
It is a bit out of La Fortuna, but we had a rental car and it was nice to stay away from the hustle and bustle.
Perfect for rustic breaks in the countryside, an Inn is a small property with basic hotel services and typically traditional decor. Inns are fully licensed and have a bar providing food and drinks in the evening – distinguishing them from country or guest houses.
It was perfect for us. We were in Monte Verde for one night and this place was lovely. The view from the room was excellent. And our innkeeper was attentive, helpful and respectful. We'd stay again and next time for longer. Highly recommend.
Beautiful place with a lot of character. We like the rustic feel accommodation and the bed was really comfortable. The breakfast was lovely and we were greeted by little wild animals as we were eating. Thanks for a great experience, we also enjoyed that they booked all of the tours for us when we arrived, which made us able to relax after a long drive.
Beautiful location and view from the cabin. Susanne was like an angel floating around the grounds, she was very helpful and accommodating . The dinner and breakfast there were delicious.
This is a beautiful spot to just 'be', surrounded by luscious jungle and a wonderful cacophony of bird sounds in the morning. The family are very friendly and helpful, and there are lots of sweet dogs. The 4-5 person lodge was comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and you have the option to stay for a lovely dinner too ($20pp). It's a 10-15min drive to the car park for the Monteverde Cloud Forest.
The staff were very helpful and our room was comfortable. We enjoyed the breakfast and coffee that was served each day. We also liked the location and ease of grabbing dinner out.
Cloud Forest Lodge was incredible from beginning to end. The communication was excellent, Whatsapp works very well. The employees are amazing! They make an effort to remember your name and your specific likes and dislikes and they are very helpful in determining what activities might be enjoyable. The grounds were immaculate and the hiking was so fun. The rooms are beautiful, clean and comfortable. I love the ecofriendly atmosphere and the food at the restaurant was amazing. My only regret is that we weren't able to stay longer!!
Prime location to the reserve, walk down the road in the morning or evening to get even more nature/birding in. Great staff- accommodated my airport transfer well, breakfast and dinner were great, comfortable beds. Quiet, away from town.
The location is very natural and the tree house cabins elevated and amongst the trees are both different and more interesting than 1 would expect. Elizabeth the hostess and her husband are very accommodating and very open to requests. Breakfast is prepared for you and provides a solid beginning to your day. The value for money is excellent albeit a nature / rustic experience. Great stay for us!
