The view from this property was exceptional which made the trip very worth while. The garden area is beautiful. Even though zip lining is behind, it is very quiet. The area is incredibly quiet and peaceful at night. Sergio was excellent and incredibly helpful.

What a beautiful place! This lovely hotel has excellent views over Lake Arenal and is set in gorgeous gardens full of birds and other wildlife. We were lucky enough to be in a room at the top, by the pool and loved watching the hummingbirds near the pool and listening to the frogs at night. The Phoenix Restaurant on site served simple but delicious breakfasts and dinners. The room was huge and comfortable and the staff were all friendly and helpful.

Such an incredible location! We were in Room 2, at the top of the hill that the property is on, next to the pool, with a beautiful view over Lake Arenal and some of the volcano. There was so much wildlife all around - we loved watching the hummingbirds in the hedge near the pool. The restaurant on site served simple but delicious breakfasts and dinners. Our room and bathroom were big and comfortable. All the staff were friendly and helpful. A great place to stay!

Everything I ate here for breakfast, lunch and dinner was phenomenal. The staff were really friendly, helpful and accommodating. The surroundings are beautiful and there are a lot of fantastic additional activities you can do, for example i did a sunrise bird watching tour, had a massage and took part in a sweat lodge type ceremony. The bed was comfy and the shower was good which so I had a very enjoyable and restorative stay.

I liked the dinners. They had vegan gluten-free and they were tasty. However a little on the light side.

Lovely location with amazing views! Staff super helpful and the on-site restaurant phoenix did a great breakfast & dinner & accommodated us as vegetarians! The location is great for the views but if you aren’t driving then be prepared to get taxis (we used Uber with no issues) as even the short walk to el Castillo is up a very steep hill on the way back so wouldn’t be suitable for everyone. I had a massage and we used the laundry facilities & all was great!

The locatin is amazing and the stuff is super friendly and helpful. But the most amazing thing is the food. Breakfast and dinner were stunning. For dinner you get a 3 course meal that could be in a 4 star hotel for the price of a takeaway pizza. It's amazing. Even if you decide to stay same where else, it's worth visiting just for the food. Thank you to the chef for the best meals we had during our 6 weeks in Costa Rica.

Great view of Arenal volcano and lake. Staff at checkin was nice and dinner at Arenal Fusion was great. Room was comfortable, clean, and had a little kitchenette. Wifi was also good. Breakfast at Arenal Grille was nice with an amazing outdoor seating area.

We stayed in the "Superior Tent" and were enchanted. The sounds and views are indescrible being right in the rain forest. It was especially fabulous at night when it rained. The bathrooms were shared but close by and spotless, with hot showers daily. We had yoga classes each morning, followed by a delicious breakfast, and then a meditation walk through the forest, spa services, naps, more hiking, and a truly incredible dinner. We really loved this special retreat and recommend it highly.
