Perfect for rustic breaks in the countryside, an Inn is a small property with basic hotel services and typically traditional decor. Inns are fully licensed and have a bar providing food and drinks in the evening – distinguishing them from country or guest houses.
- They offer quite good food especially for breakfast and dinner for a really fair price
- Located really close to the red desert and really nice ambience
- really nice stuff, who helped us with everything
- we stayed in a room for two people and had comfortable beds, and electricity in our room
Good bed and convenient room, helpful staff that still cooked dinner for us when we arrived late, swimming pool, nice location that is walking distance from the red desert, cheap food, temperature was fine (during rainy season)
The owners were very friendly and accommodating: they gave us a private room when we booked a dorm as there was no one else there, helped with transportation out of the desert and cooked breakfast and dinner for us for a small additional cost.
Got a private room for the cheapest fare and was allowed to check-in very early (9 a.m.) and check-out very late (3 p.m.). Food reasonably priced (breakfast 10k, lunch & dinner 20k, water 4k). Room was clean and with running water 24/7. Transport back to town for 20k.
From the moment I checked-in Andreas was super welcome and helpful. All the staff on the property were.
It's very close to the central square of Villavieja so shops and restaurants are nearby. The food was great - I ate breakfast, lunch and dinner there. Pretty reasonably priced for the food and a few drinks. The rooms were clean, comfortable and had good air-conditioning. Andreas helped organise tuk tuks and tours to the desert.
-Staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. The son (Esteban) and wife drove me to the airport and were kind enough to let me drop off my bag and then brought me to the mall to get some lunch. They were very patient.
-Breakfast was good and included.
-It was remote.
-Dinner was delicious (book ahead of time).
-The room was LUXURIOUS for the desert -- a couch, bathtub, soft, good-smelling towels.
- super hospitable
- breakfast, lunch and dinner available (for around 20-25k, also veggie option)
- hammocks
- free coffee
- bike rental (prices were negotiable, we had one bike that was not that great)
Very friendly staff. Excellent dinner and breakfast. Very good location for exploring red desert. Full of charm and character. Quite rustic but that's what you would expect in such a location. Great value.
