Central location in Minca, by the river. Modern, clean rooms. Friendly staff who are all in hand to help. We booked a Deluxe suite which was perfect for our family. Recently renovated in a simple rustic style.

A very beautiful Hotel to stay in. We were upgraded to a family suit for no extra charge. View from our room was fantastic! I wished we stayed an extra night there. Pool was nice and clean. Dinner was vegan but very tasty. Breakfast was ok. Staff was very helpful to set up the transportation down to Minca town and then a taxi to Santa Marta. Overall we loved Mundo Nuevo!

We loved our stay at Costeńo River! The double cabin has a good size for being cozy but not too tiny, and the balcony and the toilet are fantastic (I appreciated the fact that warm water was available to shower!) The communal area is big enough for all the guests, there are sofas, hammocks and tables. We took our dinners directly at the hotel and there's also a bar for drinks. The staff is friendly and welcoming. Highlights of the property: The swimming pool and direct access to the riverbank

The food and its cook (Nelson), the pool which is a pool you really want to hang around or swim in. Everything from gardens to the pool is extremely well maintained. I had the most luxurious room which overlooks a lot of mountains and you see birds and butterflies all the time. The breakfast and dinner are very nice, so are the cocktails. In the night from 8-10 they usually have activities like salsa dancing or karaoke and in the morning there is yoga.

Really charming and rustic place with great taste. The entire place was very calm with amazing views over the lush valley towards Santa Marta. The perfect place for a sunset drink and some birdwatching!! The quiet, peaceful location makes the uphill walk from minca village worth it.

Honestly the best hostel I have ever stayed in. The view is out of this world! Surrounded by nature and the sound of the birds, it was true paradise. As a solo traveller I was worried it would be hard to meet people but it was very social, and although you can't leave really for dinner, you really didn't need to because the food was next level. Everything about my stay was perfect and I'd go back in a heartbeat (I tried to in fact but it was fully booked - a testament to how great it is!)

Very nice and pleasant accommodation. From the beginning, I was informed by the owner of the accommodation, Luis, about the options for traveling to the town of Minca and also for traveling from Minca. I received valuable information about things to do or see in the area. The host spoke fluent English, which was highly unusual in Colombia, and we appreciated and utilized it even more because of that. Everything was great, and we would return again.
