4. Host - the nicest person I’ve met in China. He helped us literally with everything, transfers, booking, planning our trips and much much more. I swear without him and his team our trip to Zhangjiajie wouldn’t be so colourful. Thank you!
Truly exceptional! From the moment we booked, the communication with the host was seamless and friendly. The homestay itself was a dream come true, with every detail thoughtfully considered. The rooms were spacious, beautifully furnished, and filled with natural light. The breakfast selection was impressive, and the host even offered to cook us dinner one night, which was an absolute treat. The location was convenient to everything we wanted to see and do. We couldn't have asked for a better experience. Highly, highly recommended
The owner, Carol. She was really, really nice. She speaks English (difficult to find in China) and extremely helpful and friendly. She booked the entrance to Avatar mountains and adviced us about how to avoid cues (and it worked). She also waited for us to let us eat a delicious dinner although we arrived late to the hotel.
The location is top notch! Basically 10 minutes to the mountain gate on food! And you can see mountains from the inner courtyard too, which in itself is lovely. Breakfast is pretty varied, we loved it. The room is comfortable and clean.
Food was excellent. Really enjoyed the breakfast and dinner. Compliments to the chef!
Great community feel, staff very helpful and friendly - knowledgeable about the area and helped with organising park tickets and transport. English speaking was a plus!

The location is perfect . The owner are always available in planning our trip Zhangjiajie. She even booked the all tickets in advance The room was big, clean and comfortable.The food was delicious from the inner restaurant at the hotel. Perfect stay to exploring the park.
While choosing the place to stay I found out that nice home and read about the very welcome host. So, all my days of staying here Rebeca was so helpful, especially in organizing all my visits to the park and the concert. At checking in she gave me the delayed tours list and I her recommendation. And it was so helpful. By the way, you may have lunch and dinner in the house.
The property is very rustic/modest. It feels like you’re being welcomed in a family’s home.
Carol was 100% amazing to us and provided us with everything we needed and amazing tips for our days and how to seize the most of them. The rest of the family was also very kind and we really enjoyed our dinner meals! :)
The breakfast “noodles” made by the innkeeper are so delicious that you must try them，we call it the first under heaven noodles😊
