Great place, highly recommended. The breakfast is brought directly to your room, which had never happened to me before, and is also quite large. It almost didn't fit on the table! The room was fine, but most of all the location was perfect. Just five minutes walk from the bus station, five minutes walk from the train station, and ten minutes walk from the city centre. If you arrive late at night, there are even some nearby places to find food, which is not common in this part of town. The staff was very helpful and had no troubles allowing me to leave my luggage for some hours after checkout. In general, a fantastic experience. I saw some negative reviews before booking, but I'm very happy to confirm that they were completely wrong.

There’s a beautiful Van Gogh mural on the exterior of the building and orange flowers on the door that make it easy to identify the building. The entry area with the bar and tables is beautiful, warm and inviting. The room is elegant and beautiful and the bed is very comfortable. The bathroom is newly renovated and fantastic!! Cata was very responsive and incredibly helpful. She shared fun recommendations of sights to see and routes to wander as well as great restaurant recommendations!!

The breakfast was very good. The Hostal is located in a nice quiet neighbourhood in Cerro Playa Ancha. I liked it very much. It’s easy to get to the city centre as buses and cars stops just outside. Also nice to take a walk to the city centre passing el paseo 21 de mayo(takes about 30 minutes). The hosts and staff are very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend!

My host was very friendly and helpful. He let me move into my apartment at 9 in the morning, gave me an excellent street map and circled all the places of interest, where to buy food or find a taxi. The hotel feels very safe

We had the upper floor with two bedrooms and views of the ocean and the city. There is an outside breakfast nook and a balcony that goes around the apartment with a much bigger patio in front of the bedroom with the queen size bed. The views are to die for. I always go for the views and this was the best view I ever had with the sunset right in front of you and the skies changing color during the sunset. The hostess, Luz, is amazing, very helpful. We could check in early since our flight arrived early in the morning. The breakfast was served at the time we asked for and we loved it.

Miguel (and his cats) is one of the friendliest hosts, gives great info about the city and surrounding area, what bus/metro to take where, etc. he checks in to see how you are and if you need anything. He allowed us to leave our bags in our room for the day until our night bus since the room wasn’t booked for the next night - essentially a late check out, but we didn’t abuse the privilege, just appreciated a bathroom to use upon our return from sightseeing when collecting our bags to go to the bus.

We enjoyed our stay on the beach in Vina Del Mar. This property was the perfect size for two. The location was great & enjoyed dinner on the water. (Condo elevator goes down to beach level!) Communication was prompt. Would stay here again!
The owners were SO hospitable….our check in time was not until 4pm (16:00) but our plane arrived at 6:30am having us at the hotel around 9:30am. Fannie and her husband Sergio not only welcomed us at 9:30am but they served us breakfast. Fannie also booked us a dinner reservation at Portofino for that night before sending us to our room for a much needed nap. She also made all of our Uber arrangements for us through her brother-in-law and he was just as awesome! They all took care of us as though we had known them forever. as family.

It would be difficult to find a better host than Patricio! He was helpful throughout, giving great tips for busses, restaurants and activities. He and his partner Inna took great care of us and made us feel so welcome!
The house is very charming, they have a nice terrace to sit on in the evenings and the bed was super comfy. Our room also had a good view over the city.
The location was perfect for exploring the city by foot and the area felt very safe.
