The road that leads you to the hotel, literally, every time it was pure joy to drive through it.
The breakfast is mainly made from local ingredients, it was really special, although not a huge variety.
Being the guest of the hotel grants you a discount for the cable car nearby and for the bath down in the valley, but to be honest its still very expensive, so we skiped that instead, there are many cable cars in the region, and some better worth it.

Nice cosy hotel with friendly staff. Its like staying at someone's house. Breakfast was great and home made jam was delicious. Location is convenient. Short walk to the cable car from which we did an amazing hike.
Perfect for rustic breaks in the countryside, an Inn is a small property with basic hotel services and typically traditional decor. Inns are fully licensed and have a bar providing food and drinks in the evening, which distinguishes them from country or guest houses.
Overall a great spot to stay. The place was undergoing some renovation, but even with that, I highly recommend. Rooms were nice - more like a U.S. hotel (depending on your likes - this is good or bad. Grin.) - but quite nice. The dinner was really great, too!

Super positive, interested and caring staff. Thank you! Invited for dinner - I recommend excellent pizza, the restaurant is full in the evening. There is a playground, children get high on the street. The room is very comfortable - natural materials, a lot of wood, a comfortable chair just for tired legs (after a hike on 5 lakes). Breakfast is decent - good coffee, cheeses, several types of bread, salmon and sausage, granola and yoghurts.
The staff was extremely hospitable! fresh and healthy dinner and breakfast. great location stop on the way to zermatt. would definitely stay again!
