Perfect for rustic breaks in the countryside, an Inn is a small property with basic hotel services and typically traditional decor. Inns are fully licensed and have a bar providing food and drinks in the evening, which distinguishes them from country or guest houses.
Hotel was very clean and cosy - traditional decor rather than super-modern. Breakfast was good. Located right in the middle of this pretty little town - we just stopped overnight while travelling the Bernina Express. We're keen walkers and should/could have stayed longer to do some walking in the area. We had a lovely dinner in the sister hotel just across the square.
The staff enabled me to check in when I arrived early on the train and then sorted out the payment later. It is a lovely old hotel that has modern rooms and windows that open. The dinner in the restaurant was very nice and they organised an early breakfast for me when I had to leave early the next morning to make a train connection in Tirano.
I had a very nice room at a reasonable price. Additionally, breakfast and dinner (I took the half-board option) were excellent and an excellent value. A great stay!
Very friendly staff. Parking available right beside the hotel. Breakfast was plenty. Coffee very good. Dinner was excellent at a decent price. It's the second time I've been here for a stopover. Definitely can recommend.
Super friendly staff and helpful, all spoke German and some of them spoke English. Had a Delicious Pizza for dinner with a drink in the restaurant, which is quite elegant.
If you are coming from the centre of Switzerland during the winter, make sure to bring snow chains or drive a 4x4, because this hotel is over the Berninapass. Or take the train, that stops right next to the hotel.
The hotel is a lovely mix of old and new, located just a short walk from the train stop. The staff were very friendly and helpful and spoke more than enough English for us to get by. When we arrived we were advised to book dinner in the restaurant and weren't disappointed. We had a great meal and were looked after by a very friendly and helpful waitress.
10/10 would stay here again when we come back to Switzerland.
Very nice rooms with kitchen facilities. Very comfortable bed. Definitely go to osteria del Borgo for dinner in the room below. Best food of our trip!!
Breakfast is very sumptious and hotel staff service were great. Location is great too and i did not hear any noise.
Their restaurant which is in the opposite street is fantastic for the dinner. Very delicious food.
I do wish to have a bigger bathroom as shower cube is so tiny and insufficiently light in the bathroom.
