The free breakfast was excellent. It is a real breakfast buffet with several choices. The owners of the hotel are friendly and helpful. The hotel was rebuilt a few years ago so the rooms and bathrooms are very nice. It is located in the area of Oberwald so you can walk everywhere. Hiking trails along the river are nearby. Oberwald is beautiful!!!!

Loved everything about this place! The room was cute and had some charming decor. The beds were comfortable and warm. We were really sad we only stayed for one night. We also tried the restaurant and loved every bit of food they brought out. I tried the local wine, and I wished I had taken a picture of the name because it was delicious!

Perfect for rustic breaks in the countryside, an Inn is a small property with basic hotel services and typically traditional decor. Inns are fully licensed and have a bar providing food and drinks in the evening – distinguishing them from country or guest houses.
The staff in each interaction was really polite and helpful. They told us at the checkin that a table has been reserved for us at the restaurant for dinner!
The room was modern and big and the shower was also really comfortable. The toiletries supplied were also really good.
The location of the hotel is breathtaking on the Grimselpass, we visited in July and there was still ice floating in the lake.

Beautiful room with balcony overlooking the mountains and fields. Quiet location. Large safe car park. Really friendly hosts and great dinner and breakfast. We were also invited/included to join locals to watch the European Cup that was on that night hosted by the owners. They were great.
Everything - from first arrival the owner was very accommodating and extreamly welcoming.
Secure parking for our motorcycles and a very warm welcome, followed by a quick and simple check in. Dinner in the restaurant was amazing and the after dinner drinks at the bar chatting to the owner was very good. Comfortable, spacious and clean rooms.
I would recommend anyone to stay here.
