It was like I was back in my childhood and found myself at my grandmother's in the village :) The shared bathroom and toilet were clean, there were plenty of towels and all the necessary personal hygiene products. Perfect for rustic breaks in the countryside, an Inn is a small property with basic hotel services and typically traditional decor. Inns are fully licensed and have a bar providing food and drinks in the evening, which distinguishes them from country or guest houses.

On arrival we were greeted with a warm welcome then offered a drink or glass of wine to relax and discuss what the hotel had on offer. For breakfast there was a generous amount of different food on offer, and it was all fresh and delicious. We also enjoyed dinner in the hotel. We sat outside as the weather was warm, offering beautiful views of the mountains and village. The service was exceptional and the food delicious with the suggested wine made for a special evening.
The location was very special just a few miles from the Furka and Grimsel passes. The room was very modern and so clean you could eat you dinner off the floor. The staff were really friendly. The food was on another level. It was modern and really well presented.
We liked everything! Charming family-run hotel with 500 years of history. Wonderful atmosphere due to authentic old furnishings. Our room even had a canopy bed. Great breakfast and very good dinner. Very kind staff.
