Dinner was tasty, if not particularly copious, and the dessert was excellent. Breakfast was good, a lot of variety. The room was basic as one would expect in a berg hotel.

The hote is perfectly located, the restaurant serves delicious meals and the staff is super friendly! Our room was beautiful, we were able to get a big cot for our baby, with a sweet blanket and cushion. We will definitely come back!

Very friendly staff who accommodated all requests and who made life very easy. It was also nice that nobody needed to lock any doors in such a remote place where people can trust each other.
This traditional-style hotel is located in central Kandersteg, famous for hiking trails and cross-country skiing. It is surrounded by the scenic Bernese Alps.

Great location. Kandersteg is one of the best places you would want to be in winter. You can go to Oeschinen Lake(cable car from Kandersteg) for some breathtaking views both in summer and winter. That is also a great place for skiing for beginners and more experienced people. The place is a bit outdated, but you have all the facilities you need and you will be greeted by great staff. The pizza they have at the ground floor restaurant is great and you get to choose your toppings. We only went on a short trip and stayed only one night but it was one of the best experiences we had in Switzerland. In the first day we went to Lauterbrunnen and took the cable car to Mürren(about 1h by car from Kandersteg) and in the second day we went to Oeschinen Lake. Lots of things to do in the area, so even a 1 or 2 week stay will be pleasant. Breakfast was nice and the staff was nice.
Perfect for rustic breaks in the countryside, an Inn is a small property with basic hotel services and typically traditional decor. Inns are fully licensed and have a bar providing food and drinks in the evening, which distinguishes them from country or guest houses.
The staffs is very kind and discreet. Very good location. The room was confortable and had enough space. The water in the shower was not so easy to balance between cold and hot, but that was not a problem. The balcony is excellent for relaxing, . The restaurant is very good, dinner was served quickly and the food was excellent. This is a hotel to repeat in Lenk👏🏻👏🏻
The Lenkerhof is the perfect getaway for a family. There is something for everyone at the hotel and in the surrounding area. The team made perfect recommendations for hikes, dinner, and even evening cocktails! We traveled with my 84-year-old mother and her dog, and the hotel team was incredibly accommodating. There is nothing that could be done better.
It's definitely a very fun accommodation. On the mountain, next to the slopes (you actually need a gondola to get there), with two amazing hot tubs outside to relax at the end of the day (MUCH appreciated!), breakfast and dinner included, friendly staff, and in the weekend it gets busy and lively, which is nice.
Great cost-benefit considering the location and the fact that breakfast and dinner are included.
The staff was very friendly and helpful. They picked us from the train station. We got offered refreshments and there are free soup in the main reception. The dinners were great especially Oh la vie. The facilities are amazing with the outside heated pool and the spa area.
The lady at the reception desk was very friendly. The room was clean, spacious and quiet. Our kids loved the pool and the provided pool toys, however, for me the water temperature was a bit too cool, especially of the outside pool. We loved that they provided bathrobes and extra towels in the spa area. The breakfast was OK. They could have added some pastries or coffee cake to the selection. The restaurant also serves lunch and dinner upon request. Food was good. It is a nice family hotel, but not sure about 4 star quality.
The staff is friendly and very helpful. Since there is no dinner offered in the hotel itself, you might go to the centre. Alternatively, there is a nice restaurant close by, Chalet Lenk. Dinner there has been excellent.
Super friendly hotel, the staff very helpful and happy to share stories about the area. Wonderful pool to cool off in after a long hike. Spotlessly clean. Good dinner menu either House menu a la carte. Good breakfast selection. Would stay there again and recommend.
