The hote is perfectly located, the restaurant serves delicious meals and the staff is super friendly! Our room was beautiful, we were able to get a big cot for our baby, with a sweet blanket and cushion. We will definitely come back!

Like many others, we used this hotel as a stop while hiking along Via Alpina. Good location and reasonable price (keeping in mind that the whole area is extremely expensive even under Swiss standards). Nice views, very quiet area. We stayed off-season, and there were just few guests in the hotel, so no internal noises either.
Room was very basic but overall sufficient for one-two nights stay. We got a room with a bath, which was very helpful.
No-frills breakfast was absolutely sufficient.
The staff speaks only limited English, but their excellent German helped us to communicate. The restaurants in the village were all closed, but thanks to the advice we got from the staff, we found a restaurant exactly as we were looking for in the town nearby.
Overall, we have a positive feeling and will come back

Dinner was tasty, if not particularly copious, and the dessert was excellent. Breakfast was good, a lot of variety. The room was basic as one would expect in a berg hotel.

Perfect for rustic breaks in the countryside, an Inn is a small property with basic hotel services and typically traditional decor. Inns are fully licensed and have a bar providing food and drinks in the evening, which distinguishes them from country or guest houses.
Hotel Alpenrose took us in last minute after we had to move from a terrible hotel nearby. Very welcoming and friendly, received an upgrade which was fantastic after a long day’s travel. Superb dinner too.
The facilities were very well maintained. Loved the rooms. Was not a busy period so possibly the reason behind below average breakfast served.
