The view was great! The room was good, the bathroom was a bit small but not much to complain about. The terrace had a nice view on the mountains and was perfect to have lunch or drinks.

Great location. Kandersteg is one of the best places you would want to be in winter. You can go to Oeschinen Lake(cable car from Kandersteg) for some breathtaking views both in summer and winter. That is also a great place for skiing for beginners and more experienced people. The place is a bit outdated, but you have all the facilities you need and you will be greeted by great staff. The pizza they have at the ground floor restaurant is great and you get to choose your toppings. We only went on a short trip and stayed only one night but it was one of the best experiences we had in Switzerland. In the first day we went to Lauterbrunnen and took the cable car to Mürren(about 1h by car from Kandersteg) and in the second day we went to Oeschinen Lake. Lots of things to do in the area, so even a 1 or 2 week stay will be pleasant. Breakfast was nice and the staff was nice.

Perfect for rustic breaks in the countryside, an Inn is a small property with basic hotel services and typically traditional decor. Inns are fully licensed and have a bar providing food and drinks in the evening, which distinguishes them from country or guest houses.
The place offers a fantastic panoramic view. The host offers a quality breakfast every day. You can also enjoy a delicious home-cooked dinner on the panoramic terrace. The host is very kind and helpful.
Breakfast was excellent and plenty. Loved the variety of beads. Staff was friendly and helpful. Dinner in the tearoom with family was excellent, server very friendly and patient. Food was delicious. loved the option of a small meal as not to waste any food.

The breakfast was buffet style. It includes hard boiled eggs, but omlets are at an extra pay. Nice variety of cheeses, cereals, jams, granola etc.
Dinner was very good, althogh somewhat expensive. The menu also offers a nice Thai variety.
The room is very spacious. The parking is right across the street. The Coop supermarket is 5 minutes by foot if you need anything.
Last, but not least, there is an in-house patisserie which offers excellent pastries, sweets and chocolates.
