The view from our room was beautiful over the church bells and the snowed mountains. Very beautiful views from the room and the balcony. Excellent breakfast, the allowed us to have friends not staying at the hotel to join us for breakfast.

Perfect for rustic breaks in the countryside, an Inn is a small property with basic hotel services and typically traditional decor. Inns are fully licensed and have a bar providing food and drinks in the evening, which distinguishes them from country or guest houses.
Our waterfall room with balcony was perfect. The breakfast was amazing and there were many options from which to choose. The food was very good for lunch and dinner and the grounds are beautiful. After a problem checking in and a gruff staff member another staff member went above and beyond to be kind and helpful.
Grand old style hotel in spectacular surroundings. We had a big comfortable room, lovely view of the lake, a view of the waterfall from our little balcony, a big bathroom with heated floor and thick towels, very comfortable beds with quality linens. The white table linen set dinner menu was good and we ate our buffet breakfast outside overlooking the waterfall.

The hostel is at a beautiful place, right at the edge of the Brienz lake. We had a super comfortable stay and you can also book delicious home cooked dinner which we did and it was absolutely amazing.
Flexibility, familiar atmosphere. The dinner was fantastic (you get the whole menu for the day), and the breakfast was great too. View is good from the balcony.
Everything is just wonderful. The dinner is highly recommened. I was so proud of myself that I decided to book a table for that dinner. :P
I usually don't stay in B&B hotels, because even though the software (staff, service, food...etc.) is almost always good, the facility is often lower than my expectation. However, it's totally not the case here with HOTEL ALPENROSE. The location is also perfect. Only 3 mins walk to the Trauffer Erlebniswelt, which was the main destination of our trip.
So charming (more than the pics let you see) and cozy. Very good breakfast available and the weather was nice enough to have it on the terrasse. The view from our room was beautiful and the area is quiet. We had dinner too and it was also a great value for money and delicious.
