Perfect for rustic breaks in the countryside, an Inn is a small property with basic hotel services and typically traditional decor. Inns are fully licensed and have a bar providing food and drinks in the evening – distinguishing them from country or guest houses.
Dee was an incredible host, she always gave us good advice about what to do. It was an exceptional situation for her and her sister as hosts as the wildfires led to evacuations in Jasper. Even in such a crisis she always made sure that we were feeling alright and she even cooked us dinner to improve our stay at such an unfortunate time in which we weren't able to leave the house due to my wife's pregnancy.
I loved the staff behavior since the beginning of our arrival; they provided very nice customer service. The room was nice and cozy for our family, with a sofa bed that turned into a bed. Everything was clean and nice. Breakfast was included and was great. We stayed for an overnight but loved our experience.
The Best Western Plus Valemount Inn & Suites was very clean & the hotel room spacious with an exterior deck where the guests can sit down and enjoy a glass of wine in the evening or a morning cup of coffee. Our suite was located at the rear of the hotel and away from the busy Highway #5 vehicle traffic, so we enjoyed a restful overnight sleep. In the event, we travel through Valemount, BC in the future and require an overnight stay, we definitely will be returning back.
The location was fine. It did not seem very welcoming to see all the chairs stacked on the tables when checking in. It makes it seem the hotel is not in business. The breakfast was fine but missed warm eggs like scrambled eggs, with the bacon, not cold hard boiled eggs. Everything else about breakfast was good. The clerk at the front desk gave a good suggestion for dinner, the restaurant within walking distance which was nice.
Easily accessible and quiet. Was being used by workers but they were not disruptive or anything. Lots of big trucks in the parking lot so our little car stood out a little but they vacated the parking spot in front of our room while we had dinner so we could park right in front of our suite.
Easy to find, clean and a good breakfast. Staff was helpful and gave a great dinner recommendation!
