Perfect for rustic breaks in the countryside, an Inn is a small property with basic hotel services and typically traditional decor. Inns are fully licensed and have a bar providing food and drinks in the evening – distinguishing them from country or guest houses.
The room was lovely, modern and impeccably clean.
We found the touch pad entry easy to use and the parking was very convenient.
We had a few texts from the owner, Bruce which were very helpful, including suggestions for dinner (we would recommend the hungry ninja!)
An extra bonus was being upgraded to the celebration room.
All in all it was an excellent experience.
The Parlour Inn was a delightful hotel that served as the perfect home base while visiting for the Stratford Theatre Festival. The rooms were very spacious and well kept. It was also very close to downtown, so most of the theatres were less than a 10 minute walk away. We had breakfast there one morning and that was also great - their Standard Eggs Benedict on the Belgian waffles was particularly delicious.
It was a beautiful Inn. I stayed in the, "Courtside Room", and it was beautifully decorated, exceptionally clean, and check in was a breeze. It was excellent value for the money. In the morning I found a package outside the door with a note and breakfast treats. I was definitely not expecting that! I was emailed information about the Inn prior to my stay. I even received a short video on where to find parking. I felt that no detail was left out. All this information helped to provide for a great stay.
The hotel was able to give us an early check in. This was invaluable prior to attending two theater productions with dinner fit in between the plays we saw.
The staff was friendly and accommodating.
The central location works very well.
Excellent location over a bakery!
View of the River and Park from window that opened.
Bathroom and Shower were great.
Decor...superior. A live plant.
Innkeeper extraordinaire!
I really like the ability to walk into town and take in a play and dinner. Stratford is a very quaint town and I wish we had stayed longer.. The location is fantastic! Breakfast was enjoyable! The hosts were very friendly! HINT: Plan ahead and make reservations for dinner particularly if you are going in the summer and have a restaurant in mind.
Location is ideal. Enjoy walking to the theatre and choosing to walk to dinner or dine in. Love having a gym at our disposal. A morning work-out is always a great start to the day. Pleasure to meet and chat with such courteous staff.
