Looking for an inn?
Perfect for rustic breaks in the countryside, an Inn is a small property with basic hotel services and typically traditional decor. Inns are fully licensed and have a bar providing food and drinks in the evening, which distinguishes them from country or guest houses.

The Inn was simply idyllic in every way. From the wrap around deck, cosy chairs to sit and enjoy the summer evening in, and the scrumptious breakfast( best eggs ever)! It was so peaceful there. I could live there!!

The staff (inn and restaurant) were so welcoming and friendly. We thoroughly enjoyed chatting with them and learning some of the history of the inn. We were given an upgrade to a King room and it was absolutely beautiful. The bed was so comfortable, we enjoyed everything about our stay. We also had dinner in the restaurant and it was delicious!!

Location is one block off of Water street, the main shopping and eating area. We loved the quietness and quaintness, the amazing breakfast, and the history of the Inn.

I clearly did not realize that I booked a tiny room. The Inn is a Victorian gem, the room not so much. Central location to shops and good eats was great.

Breakfast was exceptional ! Coffee was superb, yogurt, fresh fruit, thick bacon, perfect eggs, and the croissants were freshly baked hot out of the oven. Quiet for sleeping. Lots of hot water. The innkeeper has travelled and was very interesting to talk with regarding our travels and stories as well as theirs.

The old fashioned inn was really lovely. It would definitely have been nice to spend more time than I had there. I accidentally slept in and missed my breakfast time but the innkeeper asked in the kitchen and they still made me a lovely breakfast!

We arrived just after 3 pm. at the Inn and were were taken up to our room by Innkeeper, John. Another beautiful huge room which had a Kingsize and double bed and a Jacuzzi bathtub! Breakfast the next morning was delicious and wonderfully presented which was a rolled omelette with ham in the centre, French toast with sliced bananas on top, yogurt and fruit and as always great coffee.
