Perfect for rustic breaks in the countryside, an Inn is a small property with basic hotel services and typically traditional decor. Inns are fully licensed and have a bar providing food and drinks in the evening – distinguishing them from country or guest houses.
We had to leave too early in the morning and could not have breakfast at Swept Away Inn. Our boat trip to Bamfield left before breakfast. The wine and beer the night before was very nice, as was talking to our host.
The female staff member that checked us in was both friendly and helpful. She suggested a restaurant for dinner after asking what kind of food, atmosphere etc. that we were looking for. That restaurant was amazing (Bare Bones). The male staff member that checked us out in the morning was also very friendly and made us laugh.
We really enjoyed the hosts` hospitality, the warm welcome into their house, detailed information about the area, the very pleasant little xtra of Breakfast and Dinner service, which exceeded our expectations. The food was well prepared and healthy...we only wanted more! The beds were very comfortable and the house in general is cosy and clean.
Outdoor Lovers B&B is an absolute gem, deserving of the highest praise for its incredibly friendly hosts and excellent service. The evening we arrived, we were graciously invited to join a delicious homemade dinner, which set the tone for a welcoming stay. Breakfast featured homemade yogurt and granola, a delightful start to the day. Bill, one of our hosts, provided invaluable tips on hiking trails and attractions in the area, thanks to which we spotted our first bald eagle in the wild!
We had a wonderful stay at the bed and breakfast. Very kind, friendly and helpful hosts in a warm, comfortable and lovely decorated home. Bill is a fantastic cook, breakfast and dinner were delicious.
The hosts are lovely and very friendly, all their suggestions were great. The home cooked food was delicious and healthy. I made a great friend from sharing dinner with the guest in the other room. My room had a lovely view and comfortable to stay in.
Great hosts. Fantastic house with way above average quality bathrooms, beds and foods. This is a B&B the way it should be. Good old fashioned hospitality and quality. Want a great wholesome experience (homemade soap in the bathroom, super nutritious and high quality included dinner and breakfast, thoughtful and likeable hosts, attention to detail) go here. Good location with nice walks along the waterfront close by. I recommend and hope to come back:)
