Perfect for rustic breaks in the countryside, an Inn is a small property with basic hotel services and typically traditional decor. Inns are fully licensed and have a bar providing food and drinks in the evening – distinguishing them from country or guest houses.
We booked last minute due to change in plans. The proprietor was very helpful and professional. Ww had a large king room. Included small fridge and toiletries. Breakfast included. Had dinner near waterfront. Had good night’s sleep after long day.
Within walking distance to downtown and the waterfront. The inn itself was so very lovely and immaculately kept. Breakfast was awesome but the home made muffins-to-go stole the show.
A definite 10!
Innkeepers, Brenda and George, are wonderful! Breakfast was exceptional!! Hot, cooked gourmet type meal with beautiful presentation of food. Inn was very quiet. We stayed once in the Maple Room and once in the Willow Room. I would suggest the Willow Room if available; it's a bit roomier and the bathroom is a bit bigger. Thank you very much for a great experience!
The innkeepers are lovely. Very kind and hospitable. Their home and garden are so beautiful. Our room, Cedar, was spacious and looked out at the garden. Breakfast was delicious, and they accomodated my gluten free restrictions with ease.
Sandy and Cathy were lovely hosts, welcoming everyone with open arms and a free glass of wine......
very inclusive.
Sheets and towels a cut above.
Breakfast was fab, dining off the beautiful limoge crockery, served by the bekilted Scotsman himself.
Coffee tasted like coffee. :-)
A truly stately Inn with magnificent antiques and artworks.
I might have been just a tad fat for the shower but cosy is good......
It was a pleasure to stay at The Braeside Country Inn. The attentiveness to guest's well being and the owner's open-minded approach exceeded my expectations. I will definitely come back in the nearest future.
