Perfect for rustic breaks in the countryside, an Inn is a small property with basic hotel services and typically traditional decor. Inns are fully licensed and have a bar providing food and drinks in the evening – distinguishing them from country or guest houses.
Better than it looked on the outside. Beds were comfortable and clean. Bathroom was very clean, which we appreciated. Good options for dinner within walking distance. No view, but close to the beach was fun.
This accommodation was rated as an inn. In fact it is an apartment. There were no staff on duty, it had no bar nor restaurant, there was no one to call if you needed an extra blanket (say). Our room was small. The TV did not work. The kitchen was communal (very nice though). To cap it all, there were one and half flights of stairs to reach the entrance (not good for us octogenarians), entry was keyless and we had not received the code.
Breakfast area was well equipped. The room was beautiful with high ceilings and huge windows. Bathroom was huge.Small deck with a beautiful view. Super easy self check in. The winery and accommodations are rustic and very welcoming. Can't wait to go back in the summer.
It was really good value for money. We stayed in February for 2 nights to ski apex mountain. I really liked the location close to the waterfront so that we can go for dinner and walk around by the lake. It was quiet and we had a great sleep here.
They have a basic breakfast every morning from about 6:30 to about 9:00. We had the breakfast one morning and then the second morning went to the Tim Hortons that is one minute away. It's always good to have a simple breakfast option.
We had three cabins with family (no kids) in each. Weather was perfect for sitting in the courtyard around the fireplace and then we had a great dinner gathering at the tapas place on the corner. We also had a lovely walk along the beach front then great coffee and breakfast sandwich at the same little restaurant on the corner the next morning. Not sure if it is part of the resort but it was right there and really nice. We had kids visiting and there were young families enjoying the BBQ's. Great place to stay.
Excellent location to the beach (dragon boat festival) and there were BBQs for guest use. We were able to have a team BBQ dinner in the open courtyard area. The rooms were equipped with a full kitchen.
We enjoyed the location of the motel, also game room for kids, sauna and swimming pool are the huge bonus! We also loved to use propane bbqs outdoor to make our dinners
Hotel is close to Okanagan Lake, grassy park and is easily accessible from major highway and nearby restaurants. Plenty of parking was available. It has indoor swimming pool and hot tub, though we didn’t use these amenities this time. Room was spacious, air condition worked well in a few very warm days we stayed. Laundry facility in the hotel was a good amenity for a family. Check Inn staff was friendly and provided helpful info about the local area. Checkout was quick.
It was clean and convenient. Our dinner in the restaurant was delicious.
