Perfect for rustic breaks in the countryside, an Inn is a small property with basic hotel services and typically traditional decor. Inns are fully licensed and have a bar providing food and drinks in the evening, which distinguishes them from country or guest houses.
The Nova Inn was full of wildfire evacuees so they sent me to their other hotel, Chateau Nova in Peace River. The experience was excellent except for them not offering free breakfast, which is why I'd chosen the Nova Inn in the first place. I was a bit disappointed.
There was some confusion when we first arrived but I will say the staff recovered well and even bought the crew dinner to make up for the initial bumps. There was a wildfire in the area so we don't hold them to the fire (so to speak) for a little chaos initially. Their response was appreciated and we would use this location again for sure.
