Awesome location, awesome hosts and awesome authentic German food. This stay was a highlight of our week trip across Nova Scotia. From live entertainment for Dinner and breakfast, to the interesting chats with the hostess and the chef - we really enjoyed the stay and cannot find any fault - this place is a little gem and gets a perfect score.
Unique experience at this hidden gem. Barbara, the owner is very friendly and helpful. She has taken special care with each room ensuring cleanliness, comfort and detailed decor. The room has a private balcony overlooking the beautiful garden or we could enjoy the delicious breakfast on the large outdoor patio. Great location for sightseeing and 1 km to Bay of Fundy. Highly recommend this Inn and can’t wait to get back!
Fantastic value for the area as long as you are willing to travel to Wolfville, Halifax, or south to Digby and Yarmouth. Located in a neat small town mid-valley and was a traditional roadside motel. Rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable.

We love that the inn is so cozy and tucked away. This is our second stay here and we are so impressed with all the work Barbara has put into the place the past year. We were instantly welcomed upon our arrival. Our room was cozy and we loved the decor and all the original woodwork.
The restaurant is to die for! Food is hot and delicious! Make sure you leave room for dessert!!
Everything was exceptional
Breakfast wonderful. We were there,7 days different food every day. The food was delicious.A lot of it. Everything was homemade.. Fresh and healthy. The owner of the Inn is a very welcoming person. We will be back next year.
Owner is wonderful. She sang with piano player during dinner in restaurant where the food was terrific. I had the Weiner schnitzel. Breakfast was outstanding. Suggested alternate cycling routes based in input from other cyclists.
What a delightful surprise to find this lovely Inn so close to the Fundy shore. The new owner has done a lot of work to make this a destination that warrants a return visit. Clean, bright, fresh, with everything you need, including an excellent breakfast.

Exceptional! dinner in their restaurant. Chef is a master. Honestly, the best German meal I’ve ever eaten - including in Germany.
A cosy and tranquil Inn in an absolutely beautiful spot with nice garden surroundings and only a few minutes to the scenic beach.
The host and staff were quite courteous and helpful, the rooms rustical but comfortable.
