Perfect for rustic breaks in the countryside, an Inn is a small property with basic hotel services and typically traditional decor. Inns are fully licensed and have a bar providing food and drinks in the evening – distinguishing them from country or guest houses.
The location was perfect - minutes off the Trans Canada Highway. Dinner in their steakhouse was gourmet and far exceeded our expectations. The rooms were all themed and gorgeously appointed with antique furniture. Spotlessly clean. Excellent water pressure in the shower.
We had dinner in the restaurant. I can’t say enough about how good the food was. Both of our dinners (steak and salmon) were done to perfection. The surroundings were very elegant and the service was exceptional.
Staff were friendly and welcoming. Room was spotless. Gentleman in the kitchen at Chantals went above and beyond to get us dinner when he found out we were staying here and unable to have a sit down dinner as we had our dog with us.
The Auberge was a hidden gem. Truly magnificent, small and full of charm and character. We were welcomed immediately, and checked in within minutes. The room we chose had a king bed, a gas fireplace, and a Jacuzzi tub. Everything in the room was immaculate, clean, and warmly inviting. We enjoyed a delicious relaxing dinner in Chantal's Steak House downstairs without needing to get back into our car and leave the Inn. Our waiter was amazing. He was personable, attentive and great fun to talk with. All in all we felt very much at home.
Really well done remodeled older home with private entrance and fully equipped kitchen. Nice walk to a great place for dinner and a breakfast place. Nice deck to sit on and enjoy the evening.
Property felt like we were at home. We went to the restaurant for dinner and our meal was amazing. The staff was fantastic!
