Perfect for rustic breaks in the countryside, an Inn is a small property with basic hotel services and typically traditional decor. Inns are fully licensed and have a bar providing food and drinks in the evening – distinguishing them from country or guest houses.
The room was clean and comfy. The restaurant served delicious food! The staff was great! The view from the restaurant was amazing as it overlooked the city. We could see where we had driven as we toured Corner Brooke before dinner.
The location was amazing. The view over the water especially at sunset was spectacular. They had a large area with a fire pit for viewing. The fully equipped kitchen meant we could make a homemade dinner which is a great break from restaurant food after days of it. The rooms were clean comfortable and shared the same beautiful view. The host was amazing always ready and available to help with any requests. Staying here was without question the best place on our trip.
The room was very clean, nicely decorated and had a great water view. It was convenient to be able to use the kitchen and bbq to make our dinner and use the dishwasher to clean the dishes. We would have used the fire pit if the weather had cooperated during our stay.
The view is wonderful, the kitchen and rooms were great, and Mark was an awesome host. Definitely loved the kitchen though, as we cooked our own dinner and sat out on the balcony. Wished we weren't so beat that we didn't start a fire... would have loved to sit and enjoy it with the hosts. They also let us know what areas to check out during our stay.
The look of the inn is gorgeous. You can tell it has history and character and it was fun to imagine what it would've been like through the decades! The room was spacious, clean and comfortable! We had been camping before that so having a nice hot shower, soft towels and a comfy bed to sleep on was a dream! The staff were so nice and helpful, I would definitely book here again!!
We had supper in the restaurant and the meal was sub standard. I couldn’t eat my appetizer, french onion soup it was like trying to chew through rope. My main course, roast turkey dinner wasn’t much better. My wife commented to the waitress that the Turkey meat looked like scraps and the waitress agreed! I’m not a fussy eater but I do like slices of Turkey meat and not pieces that looked ground up. We’ve eaten in the restaurant before and the food was good but not so this time.
The room was big with two queen beds. It was comfortable and clean. The shower was accessible. Dinner in the restaurant was enjoyable and gluten free was on offer. Breakfast was good. The hotel had a laundry for guests - very useful when moving from place to place. Hotel ideally placed for walking round the interesting town. Car park available for patrons.
The breakfast was excellent for the price. $8.49 for bacon, eggs, home fries, melon, and toast. Lovely server- Cheryl. The dining room was 1924 style like the inn itself.
