The Georgetown Inn, hotel in Banff

Located in Canmore, this hotel is 7 minutes’ drive from Banff National Park. It features spacious rooms with unique Old English décor and cable TV. Mountain and valley views are offered.

The property owners went out of their way to make their Inn quaint and respectful of the time period it represents (tea cups and tea pot, shortbread cookies, antique furniture, electric fireplace with mantle, historical decor throughout the inn, etc), all while ensuring that modern amenities (ample outlets, soaker tub with awesome shower, comfy robes, comfy and clean bedding, etc.) are available for the customer's comfort.

Lady MacDonald Country Inn, hotel in Banff

This Canmore bed and breakfast is overlooked by the Canadian Rockies and offers majestic views of the mountains. A homemade breakfast is served each morning in the home’s spacious solarium.

The location is great. On main hotel/restaurant road. The hotel is beautifully decorated as an antique home. Very bright and open. Elegant furnishings, woodwork, carpets and lighting. Our room was the Temple room. It had a queen bed on the main floor with the tv and bathroom and up the stairs were 2 twin beds. Perfect for our family. Very comfortable beds and pillows. Nice touch of the gas fireplace for winter. We used the roof top hot tub which was great. Hotel supplies soft robes and pool towels. There is also a sauna which we did not use. Breakfast in the morning is a full host's choice breakfast. Ours was yogurt and fruit cup, toast, scrambled eggs and bacon. There was also a smoothie at the coffee table area and about 20 different kinds of tea. Excellent. My son has to leave before breakfast was served and he was about to get self serve toast, coffee and juice.

A Bear and Bison Country Inn, hotel in Banff

Set at the foot of Lady McDonald mountain, this luxury country inn offers an outdoor hot tub and an optional 3-course breakfast.

Everything. View was amazing, staff were amazing and the hot tub and breakfast were much better than expected. I asked for the romantic package and was quite shocked at the quality.

The location next to Storm Mountain allows for the opportunity to sit and take in the magnificent view. The Cabins had a rustic decor that added to the immersion of being in the Canadian Rockies. The dinner we had was excellent, one of our favorites during our time in both Banff and Jasper. We definitely stay here again.

We were there in the summer to visit Banff and Jasper. The gondola was fun with beautiful views. The hotel was convenient to town and park sites. The room was cozy and comfortable! We had a couple of enjoyable dinners in the bar/tavern. The staff was wonderful and very friendly. I had incorrectly booked an activity through their store prior to our trip but there was no problem, I went to the guest services counter and had my refund in minutes!

This Inn is located on the main strip in Banff just a couple blocks from the main downtown area that gets blocked off to traffic. The hotel provides free bus passes and their is a stop right in front of the hotel, making for easy access to anywhere in the town. We stayed here for value and proximity, and weren't disappointed.

Location is excellent, right in the centre of Banff. The roof top relaxing area was really lovely, especially after a long day hiking. The property is very clean, well maintained and the staff are very friendly and helpful . The restaurant is very good, both for breakfast and dinner. There are also laundry facilities which was great for those of us who are travelling around Canada. Excellent hotel.

We really enjoyed our stay at the High Country Inn. Perfect location - walking distance to the Banff downtown, best place to reach the freeway. The staff were so kind and helpful. They gave us perfect advice for local attractions. The property was maintained very well.

Our stay at High Country Inn was perfectly enjoyable for our visit to Banff. Our room was spacious and comfortable and the staff were great. The location is convenient and there is plenty of free parking. We took advantage of the pool and hot tub, as well as the laundry facilities. The hotel was undergoing some renovations during our stay, but that did not affect us in any significant way. I would stay there again.

The fireplace is the draw! Fabulous. Very comfy room, so rustic and in keeping with the vibe of Banff. Had dinner and breakfast at their restaurant, The Prow. Very tasty, especially the warm gingerbread cake for dessert and the bison blueberry sausage in the morning. But we've been making this a yearly trip because of that fireplace!

The staff were incredibly friendly. The location is nice, towards the beginning of town, but completely walkable distance to downtown Banff. The King Loft suite met our expectations. It's rustic, while still being cute and comfortable.
