Ceilidh Country Lodge, hotel in Baddeck

Located in Baddeck, Ceilidh Country Lodge provides a garden. There's a terrace and guests can use free WiFi and free private parking.

It was a great location in the centre of Baddeck, with a lot of country charm. It was our first stay in Cape Breton just before we drove the Cabot Trail and we experienced the Cape Breton hospitality first-hand. They recommended we go to a Ceilidh (a local community fiddle performance) just down the road and it was incredible! Breakfast was served in a cozy dining room in a historic home with a lot of east coast country charm. It had a cozy, traditional, bed and breakfast feel the whole time we were there.

Breakfast is a good buffet including yogurt and fruit as well as numerous baked goods and cereal. The Inn is nicely renovated and decorated and the setting on the water is very nice. There is a deck out back and chairs right on the water which would be lovely if it wasn't raining.

The charming B&B was off the main road, higher up and quite remote, so it was very peaceful and relaxing with beautiful views all around from the outdoor dining area. We had dinner at the restaurant, which was exceptional, all locally sourced, and the breakfast included with our stay was beyond our expectations! The owners are quite friendly and delightful and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. If we come back to this area, we would definitely book here again for a longer stay!
