Perfect for rustic breaks in the countryside, an Inn is a small property with basic hotel services and typically traditional decor. Inns are fully licensed and have a bar providing food and drinks in the evening – distinguishing them from country or guest houses.
Mike, the owner, is THE best host ever!!!
He and his staff, especially Winnie, went out of their way to make our stay as pleasurable as possible.
We got flu during our stay, and they really tried to help any possible way they could. It was actually very sweet of them
And it was really the best breakfast !!!!!
Very quiet. It is in a serene location. There is a new shopping centre not far away. The guest house has a large kitchen, dining area as well as a lounge. It also has a large pool and braai /barbeque area.
Friendly definitely however could not even get pin for direction, inexpensive
People who given it such high rating must be extremely poorly exposed to normal standards,
this is at most decent, African-style guest house, you get bed, shower.I was the only guest,
yet they pretended being too busy. Responded fairly quick to emails, but disingenuous
AC didn’t work. Reported in the morning. 5pm return to find it still broken. Had a terrible nights sleep night before as you cannot even open a window. At 6pm they say they can’t fix it.
They move me into a twin room. No remote for tv. No menu. No soap.
Offered me P300 voucher for dinner. It was never followed through.
Management stand around and do nothing. Staff are great. Especially reception. But ineffective.
Service slow at restaurant. Good ok.
There is no provision of breakfast and this could be a great addition as restaurants are a bit far from the guest house. Or provide pamphlets of restaurants doing deliveries so people can order in.
Really felt at home at Green Lagoon Guest House. Such a calm and lovely place. The staff were wonderful and very attentive, a big thanks to Mojomosti who cooked delicious meals every day both for breakfast and dinner.
