The cleanliness of the room and facilities in Pousada Molhes da Barra was impeccable and the staff was extremely friendly. The breakfast was good and we even got a recipe for a delicious cold cake (bolo gelado) from Neita. The location is perfect because it is possible to enjoy both the Mampituba River and the Molhes beach. There is a nice long walkway by the river bank that extends all the way to the end of the waterbreak (molhes).

This was the first time we had stayed in this hotel even though we'd visited Torres many times before, so we weren't sure what to expect. The facilities were incredibly clean; the staff was very accommodating and knowledgeable; and the location was excellent. The breakfast buffet offered a great selection of tasty food. We would go back again.

Location is great, shows on the photos. Eliege, the receptionist/front desk/ customer service was FANTASTIC. She saved the trip with her kindness, attentive, prompt to answer messages, etc. I hope she gets paid well. Good quality sheets, give you one bar of soap, and towels. Nothing else. But eliege helped us and gave us cups, glasses, plates, cutely. We went in July, low season, so no breakfast, no 24hour in-house person, and they were renovating, at night we felt like we were the only souls in the place. Still, if you bring all your stuff, park far once street parking is full, and don’t care for the looks, this is a great destination. One shower had lower water temp than desired but the other room had good hot water. The bathroom fan doesn’t work properly and there are no blackout curtains. No room service, do after three nights the floors needed a clean. At night the street lights can be quite brights. In closing, Eliege - the lady who is the front desks and helps with booking, and the location are the best .
