In addition to all the basic important things (very clean, wonderful breakfasts with nice variety each day,) the staff were just very very present, helpful, and accommodating. It was the sort of place you hope to find as an international visitor, where they will let you use your developing Portuguese if you want, but can help some in English too - where they will tell you about what’s happening in the city, the neighborhood, etc. one night the evening staff person mentioned that the vendor we heard yelling was selling milho. When she saw I was interested, she helped me negotiate a local corn treat from the guy, a priceless experience. The owners had also saved some lovely pieces of furniture from when the house was a home. I like that kind of thing.

I chose this hotel for the second half of my trip because it is about 10 - 15 minutes from the airport, and I had an early flight. The hosts have really done their best to create a "zen" atmosphere. It's located in a residential area and pretty quiet. It is also within walking distance to the beach. Andre was extremely nice and helpful. Breakfast is limited, but available. You could order food from your phone and have it brought up to your room.

The location, cleanliness and decor of the hotel was great. Equally the breakfast was very nice. You are able to order tapioca and eggs from the kitchen as well as help yourself to a wide range of items from a buffet.
We had dinner at the restaurant one evening and the food is delicious. The service is attentive and warm. I would definitely recommend.

We had this classic booking.com WOW experience when we entered the hotel and our room. Absolutely stunning place. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast had a lot of choices and was delicious. The room was spacious and clean. Shower was really hot. We had a room with balcony. I spent quite a time in the hammock and watched stunning sunsets. We also had a lovely dinner at the restaurant.
Best people atmosphere. Everyone is very friendly and genuine. I wish all hostels were like this. Stay here. Initially I couldn’t find availability for my stay and I texted them, they said to wait until the beginning of the next month for availability to open up, then I was able to get all my dates.
Always that I visit Salvador, I go to this small and charming Inn in a nice historic neighborhood. The place is clean, friendly staff, comfy room and a nice and delightful breakfast. Location is good and the wifi works fine. Very gay friendly. They have a classic music choir that gather every Monday. It was very good to hear some pieces from Bach and Mozart.

Complimentary services like airport transfer and restaurant reservation worked like a charm. The small boutique hotel is located at the beginning of the beautiful historic center of Salvador. Perfect for an easy, secure stroll into the city! Moreover, the rooftop pool offers a great view including sunset panorama. Fantastic stay!
The hotel is beautiful, breakfast is great and the staff very helpful and welcoming. We had a great stay. There are lots of restaurants and bars in this area, easy to find a good place to have dinner.
Staff was very kind, from the beginning to the end. They even helped me with some issues with my laptop and they offered a welcome drink the first night. Food was also quite good (both breakfast and dinner a la carte).
