Overall - I came with low expectations and I was very pleased! The pousada is VERY clean. Showers are good and hot. The suite with private bathroom is great value. Wifi is fast. Staff are super helpful, and always on hand on Whatsapp. Would definitely stay here again!

That was the worst place I have booked 21 nights to me and my wife and my baby boy (1y). The room was completely dirty. Everything was dirty. They gave a very dirty bed to my baby boy. I left with my family the same night I came. I COULDN’T SPEND ONE NIGHT THERE.

If you like cats, artsy craftsy stuff in the inner courtyard, this place is for you. Air conditioning worked great, and electric hot shower worked, also. Rare treat. Everyone helpful. Thumbs up! Also, no prepay.
It was very surprised how nice and clean was the place. Maria is a very nice hostess and make you feel very comfortable. I highly recommend Maria’s guest house. The best ever!
To spend a night in this old, dirty and not clean hotel room was a nightmare. In the beginning I thought I had to get out and find a new place right away. The service and the hotel room was very bad. Room was so old and NOT CLEAN AT ALL! I will never ever spend one night of my life there again!
The Bugan was a great choice for our overnight stay in Recife. The hotel is well run with warm, efficient staff, provides a comfortable room with a bed that delivered an excellent night’s sleep. We ate our arrival dinner, morning breakfast buffet, and lunch buffet here before we continued our drive. All the meals were delicious with excellent service. There is a lap pool on the roof if a person wants a pleasant workout swim. We were very pleased with our choice.
