The staff were SO lovely.
Location on the beach is great - but the main town is 15 minute drive away.
Beach view room was good - wished we had more time to enjoy.
Very easy ordering food and drink around the pool etc with a room tab.
Accommodating with facilities when we had checked out of room - shower room available etc.

Great hotel / pousada ....on Millionaires Beach/ Praias de Milionários. Very comfortable, clean and good breakfast. Wifi good. Ample parking. This is off season, and the room rate is slightly expensive given that the hotel is virtually empty.
Opposite Praia do Cururupe Beach, Pousada Morro dos Navegantes features private beach access, a buffet breakfast and an outdoor pool. It offers air-conditioned rooms with a sea view and free parking.

It was quiet and the swimming pool was lovely. It was low season so there was only one other couple staying in the whole place. It's a huge house with various living quarters, all beautifully decorated.

The common leisure areas (swimming pool, rest area, hammocks) of pousada were very nicely designed to give a peaceful feeling. The landscape gives the sensation that you're inserted in a tropical paradise. We enjoyed the views watching the sea while having breakfast and the swimming pool is great, large enough for actual swimming, and has beautiful lights at night. The breakfast food was good although a bit cluttered laid out and not very organised. The drinks and dinner were good, and on the last day we had a good pizza.
It was a big apartment, with a balcony. Warm but 2 fans helped a lot (they could be fixed to be able to turn).
We were a bit skeptical about the location because we wanted to stay in the centre of Ilheus. But turned out to be a great location, close to the night life of bars and restaurants. It might look a little dodgy in the beginning but we felt safe walking around, even at night.
The beach nearby "praia da Concha" was a great option for a swim close by. I don't think we would find that, staying in Ilhéus centre.
