The apartment was spartan but comfy. The kitchen worked well for breakfast, I ate lunch on the beach, and there is a small facility about 30 meters down the street that serves inexpensive dinner at tables placed on the street. It is a worker-class outfit with a small, home made barbecue, but it is pleasant.
The owner was extraordinary supportive in all things, I needed much this support, because I don't speak Portuguese and I am for the first time in Brazil and Fortaleza. He spent his time to help me in my shopping, find lost things, guided me in the public transport, cook for me a dinner and more. His accomodation was my accomodation, I never met such help and support in Booking accomodation.Thank you so much.

We had a lovely dinner on the terrace, pity that the live music thought that the louder the volume better the enjoyment, which was obviously not the case for us, unable to have a normal conversation at the dinner table because the enthusiastic artist playing behind my neck

Definitely a no-frills hotel, but great location about 3 blocks from the beach. It's walking distance of a pharmacy, restaurants, and grocery. Arthur at the front desk is the best, and Gabriella was so helpful too. They were responsive via booking.com messaging. Restaurant seems to only open for dinner with a limited menu. Price was good. I'd recommend if you're looking for something well located and not very fancy.
Well located near a supermarkt (with good breakfast/lunch/dinner) and Iracema beach. The hostel as well as our room were very clean and the room was very well equipped with lots of hangers and two tables. We could keep our luggage before the check-in time. Helpful staff.
