Perfect for rustic breaks in the countryside, an Inn is a small property with basic hotel services and typically traditional decor. Inns are fully licensed and have a bar providing food and drinks in the evening, which distinguishes them from country or guest houses.
Lovely, quiet and clean motel in such a lovely position! An easy walk back up the hill from town after dinner. Owners Peter and Jacki were very helpful, with check-in information being sent through immediately after booking. Would definitely stay again!
THe motel was immaculate. We have an EV car and they were really helpful in finding a spot where we could plug in at the motel plus had good recommendations of where to go for dinner.
Great that Yackandandah Central is in the centre of town. Signage needs to be updated otherwise is not easy to find with the older Motor Inn signage still up. The rooms were in excellent condition and good to have environmentally designed bathrooms (shower fittings etc).
We always stay at the Colonial inn when travelling between Melbourne and Sydney. We love it for it's beautiful location amongst the trees, waking up to beautiful birdsong!!! It's also Yackandandah and close to the highway. The rooms are HUGE. Spacious, super clean and will all amenities you need. The owners are such lovely people and really lovely to have a chat to. Honestly, such a winner for the price and we will continue to stay here!!
Position of Motel close to main street. Views were spectacular. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Owners were away on a short break, but on arrival rang Mobile number provided at Reception and very helpful in directing us to our rooms whilst on phone to ensure we were happy with facilities. Very thoughtful. Dinner at Pub and brekky at local Cafe next morning. Great main street and interesting shops to look in.
We were heading to Tallangatta for a 90th birthday dinner but Tallangatta was fully booked out for a CWA show. This was the closest we could find but it was an enjoyable experience and very comfortable.
Location was great. It’s right in the middle of town. Walk to everything.
Great food at the pub just a few shops up the road, and plenty of other dinning options for next time.
