We had an amazing stay at the Ville. The hotel has everything you need for a nice and relaxed get away The pool was heated and equipped with a bar. Amazing breakfast and I recommend having dinner at Miss Songs!
The unit was tired and in need of care eg all six dinning table chairs were all broken. Bathroom fittings removed. Several places to hang ‘art work’ the art. No hair dryer. Two light fittings in need of replacement bulbs.
We arrived late which was not a drama. The manager was so helpful checking us in quickly so we were able to get to the steakhouse for dinner which was great and priced well. Plenty of off road parking for our hire car and even though there was a scheduled power outage for Sunday the manager made sure we had a breakfast pack each to help us on our way.
Recently refurbished rooms were roomy and had all you need. Location is great so close to everything round town.
Being right in the city it was surprisingly quiet. There were plenty of dinner options close by and within walking distance. A supermarket was just down the road. Very central.
Really enjoyed our stay. Had a jacuzzi in the room, didn't expect that. Also has a dryer & washing machine which is essential. Beautiful views of Townsville City. We also had dinner next door at the Lonestar Ribs, door straight from Oaks Reception to the restaurant which is so convenient. Highly Recommend
Went out for dinner, returned at 8.30 in the evening, all locked up! Phone went to answering machine. After hours number was wrong. After an hour of trying to get in rang the police. They couldn’t help and didn’t have a number. An hour later a guest let me in. Following morning staff were rude and did nothing.
Jess was very accommodating. Brought us bowls when we asked, and even gave us after-hours access to the pool area in order to cook our dinner on the BBQ. Pool and waterslide was fun.
Extremely reasonable price at a tavern with lovely views of a lake with water feature and excellent dinner at said tavern. Very comfortable bed and pillows with lovely staff
