A very personal reception on arrival, the host gave us lots of tips on where to go for dinner and breakfast.
Andy's friendly and knowledgeable introduction to the area was great. He explained the places to grab coffee, lunch, and dinner and their distance to the apartment, which was spot on. The view from the apartment is picture-card-perfect. The quietness of the apartments was great. When we had the balcony door open, the sound of the waves on the shore was marvellous. Perfectly clean, neat and tidy.
Amazing service from Roger the owner. He provides Breakfast in a well set out dinning room with the option for a cooked breakfast which he makes and serves quickly. The open fire burning in the lounge at night is a perfect place to sit back on the leather couches and enjoy a quiet red, port or coffee. This does not even mention the beautiful home with high ceilings which is too hard to do justice in this review
The room on the uppermost floor was very clean and comfortable and there was minimal noise from the hotel function areas, bar and restaurant which was pleasing. Dinners in the restaurant were delicious.
Had to leave early and didn't bother with breakfast. I'm sure it would have been great.
On arrival the owner was very informative and friendly.

Great room with fantastic view of ocean and loved the spaciousness and comfortable couch to relax on. The bathroom was bright, loved the spa. Good towels. Very comfortable bed with good pillows. Coffee maker and added bonus, well enjoyed. Good continental breakfast in the morning, which came with a friendly chef. Good dinner, with friendly staff assisting.
A beautiful old hotel built in 1870 that is well-preserved with antique style furniture but has the comforts of updated bathrooms. We loved the breakfast that is included in the old dining room with lots of old photos of previous eras there. Our dinner in the restaurant was fabulous but make sure you book as it was full on a Monday night!
