It's a good, budget hotel we used for skiing at Semmering. The room had everything we needed. The kitchen downstairs is fully equipped: we cooked a dinner and a breakfast there. Marina, the lady taking care of the hotel, was very friendly and helpful. We will be happy to come back the next time we go skiing in the area.

Beautiful area with lots of great walks and views, with a regular train service to Vienna and Graz, Unfortunately Storm Boris restricted my movements quite a bit, but it is an interesting town to explore especially the history behind some of the huge old 19th century hotels that drew visitors in the first place.

Even the pension is close to railway lines, we could not hear the train.

The apartment was spacious! We liked to have a separate living room. The kitchen was very well equipped. There is a dishwasher too which could be very useful if many people stay in the apartment. We also enjoyed sitting on the balcony and having breakfast and dinner there. The apartment is from 3 minutes from the railway station, so we did not use our car during our stay. There are many hiking trails around Payerbach, e.g., the Bahnwanderweg to Semmering. The climate of the location is perfect during the hot period of summer.
