The review on Booking says "lake view"; you can see a lake that is about 10km away, but even without the lake, the view is breathtaking! They have a nice restaurant and beer tent and the staff is very friendly.

I liked everything in the apart. We arrived at midnight, but we were able to do self check in it was a great opportunity. Location was just perfect, in innerstadt of Klagenfurt. It was really clean and bed was so comfortable! I had everything in bathroom and kitchen. It really deserves a 10 point. Also the room looked like exactly in the pictures.

Location is perfect, inside inner city, near to pubs, caffès and restaurants. Could be noisy on weekends. In the lower floors there is no AC, only in top level.
Hostel mapijaru is so lovely! The host is very kind (she also was flexible about check in and check out), and the rooms really feel more like an AirBnB than a hostel. There's plenty of kitchen space, charming decor, and even an inner balcony where you can see lots of stars on a clear night!
The pension is in a quiet part of Klagenfurt, between Wörtersee and the Innere Stadt. The staff is very friendly and helpful, while the dog is adorable. Don't be discouraged by the dark, old-fashioned hallways, because the rooms are very nice. Or at least ours was. Full of light, sparkling clean and comfortable. The towels and bed linen are fresh.
