Almgasthof Windischgrätz, hotel in Bad Gastein

Overlooking the Gastein Valley and the surrounding mountains, Almgasthof Windischgrätz is a 5-minute drive from the center of Bad Gastein.

Awesome location on top of the mountain. Breathtaking views of Bad Gastein is a lifetime experience. Super friendly, supportive owner and her husband. Also, they are very kind enough to provide fresh bread every morning for free. The small town is very near to the hotel where you can buy all the essentials. The apartment is very nice and clean, equipped with all the kitchenettes. Definitely we will come back for another holiday. ♥️

Alpengasthof Gutenbrunn, hotel in Bad Gastein

Located in Mallnitz, 21 miles from Roman Museum Teurnia, Alpengasthof Gutenbrunn provides accommodations with a garden, free private parking, a terrace and a restaurant.

We were delighted that Guttenbrun is finally open for guests. It is a Mallnitz symbol, has lots of character and it is in an absolutely gorgeous location. We were already in Mallnitz for the last 10 days ( we travel to Mallnitz every year for about 2 weeks in the winter and 2 weeks in the summer) when we decided to stay for a night there. In the end we couldn’t stay due to the reasons below.

Die Reinbachstube, hotel in Bad Gastein

Offering an on-site restaurant and a sun terrace, Die Reinbachstube is located in Sankt Johann, 24 mi from Schladming. All rooms come with a flat-screen TV and a private bathroom fitted with a shower....

The room was spacious, well-furnished, very clear in concept. The bed was comfortable, had a great night sleep. Everything was fresh and clean, we found the place be really superb value for price. Before our travel, I was concerned a bit about possible noise from the highway (based of previous users' comments), but it was nothing dramatic. The lady at the reception was very friendly, even quite into the evening as we arrived (ca. 20:30). If I have the chance to re-visit this wonderful region, I am sure to book a stay here again!

Gasthof Pesbichl, hotel in Bad Gastein

In a quiet location 3.7 mi from Goldegg, Gasthof Pesbichl offers panoramic views of the surrounding Alpine landscape.

The guesthouse is in a remote hamlet with beautiful views. Sadly we were only there for a short time so we did not have time to explore the area but would love to come back. The owner was very welcoming and showed us her animals and barn and machinery. This place is perfect for people who enjoy nature and living off the land.

We were 3 families staying for 12 days in total. We have enjoyed each minute spent in the hotel. The ambiance, the comfort, the view. The staff was exceptionally helpful and friendly. Breakfasts and dinners were delicious. Plenty of activities for all ages (3 generations of our family). I would highly recommend free classic concerts in the concert hall of the neighboring Hotel Europa or on the nearby square.

It felt so comfortable while also very stylish. You can tell the owner really cares about the space. Very thoughtful touches. My favorite room was the library, with always cool music and its comfortable purple velvet sofas. My daughter and I read our books there before breakfast and dinner.

This hotel is incredible for short- and longterm stays, breakfast is amazing, additional lunch is a great option and a dinner was just delicious. The room was squeaky clean and comfy, the spa area was nice with options of the massage, scrubbing, facials and thermal baths. All in all this hotel is great, feels like little American home in such a quiet beautiful place. I saw a lot of the people being pissed here in the comments about the WiFi, but for me it was actually not a problem. The WiFi works great in a lounge area and restaurant.

Amazing wellness area with an enormous 90c Finnish sauna, 65c herbal sauna, small infinity pool that is like 10 or 15 meters at its longest point. It’s 1,3 meters deep. Breakfast was fabulous and varied. I liked that there were two fish choices and things like guacamole in the morning. The design is so hip. It’s way better than an Ace Hotel for instance.

Staff was very commucative and nice. I asked for a later checkout (1:30hours later) and since they were more than pleased to agree with no charge. Breakfast was great, and the hotel itself is very well equiped, even when compared to more expensive hotels! Just a 20 minutes slow walk to city center - I think it's a winner!

The three-night stay at Pension St. Leonhard was perfect in every way. The location was excellent, the facilities were impeccably clean, and the view of the Gastein valley from the room's balcony was beautiful. Most of all, the breakfast was outstanding. A variety of delicious foods and drinks were freshly prepared every day. The host was very friendly and caring, and communication was excellent. The reasonable price was the icing on the cake. There is nothing more one could ask for. We plan to stay here again on our next visit.

The location is fantastic and the food (breakfast, lunch & dinner) was exceptional. We only booked breakfast initially, but after looking at dinner tables we opted for full board. Spa treatments were nice but nothing special, room was comfortable and clean.

This was possibly the best hotel we have ever stayed at. The staff were really helpful and the facilities were excellent. They had a Finnish sauna which was actually pretty close to the real thing. A dip in the roof top pool before breakfast is highly recommended!
