Had dinner at the restaurant a couple of times and the food as well as the service was really good.
Even though we booked a sea view room, in my opinion it is not a must as most of the time its spent in the beach.
The swimming pool is well looked after and towels are provided if needed.
John's Guesthouse offers a great view, and the terrace is amazing both in the morning and at night. The restaurant offers good meals both dinner and breakfast. The rooms were clean and spacious. The Guesthouse is located up the hill and there is a nice pathway for easy beach access. It is also located near to the bus stop to Sarande or Butrint, a supermarket is 5min walk away.
Loved the location. Walking distance to beach and far enough away from the super busy town yet a 15 min walk. Lovely couple who host you and the best dinner on my entire 12 day Albanian trip. Highly recommend staying here. So peaceful!
The garden where we was eating breakfast and dinner was amazing literaly was wow.
We had a 7 days stay at this hotel and we really enjoyed everything the food was delicious room was big and very comfortable.
Staff was very welcoming and me and my wife felt like home.

The location is great, views from our room and breakfast was unbeatable. It’s outside of Ksamil so less tourists. Great beach. Staff all very helpful and are genuine kind people. Lunch and dinner menus were very yummy.
The accommodation was clean, and the bed was comfy. I enjoyed having a balcony and a place to dry my beach clothes. Being at the beginning of Ksamil, I had access to quieter beaches and spots without paid sunbeds, giving me the flexibility to choose what I wanted. The host was enthusiastic and eager to help, though he didn't speak English. Despite the language barrier, he quickly addressed a problem I had with the shower. The apartment also had a full kitchen and TV, which added to the convenience.
Everything was great. The food, the people, just amazing. The family is in charge of the place, they prepare different food every day. For Breakfast, you can choose from the menu and it is a very rich breakfast always different dinner with salad/soup, main dish and dessert.
Our tire was flat the first day and they helped us instantly, and made the entire stay very pleasent. Great people! Recommend!
