Fully equipped luxury tents with an outdoor covered kitchenette and bathroom, queen size bed, dining room table and couch; along with the necessary amenities that modern day life demands such as WIFI and power (NB: only for charging devices as the tents run on a small solar system). It's camping, but with all the amenities that you would expect of a house; such as a high pressured shower and a flushable toilet overlooking the forest, what more can you want? A braai/BBQ area on the edge of the forest immersed in nature. All sorted. Our facilities are suited to the nature lover or those who just wish to escape the city and unwind amongst natural surroundings. You will be surrounded by nature in all its beauty and all that comes with that. Our safari tents are on the edge of an indigenous forest which you are welcome to explore to your hearts content. It is a protected forest so please do not remove anything from the forest and do not leave anything behind. If you want a private, peaceful and tranquil place then look no further.

Born and bred in South Africa; however I spent my early adulthood exploring the world. Finally found my peace back in Wilderness South Africa. I choose to live a minimalistic, off-grid and back to basics lifestyle focusing my plot which I wish to turn into an eco friendly getaway surrounded by the beautiful indigenous forests and wildlife that Wilderness has to offer.

Wilderness is a town in South Africa’s Western Cape Province, on a coastal stretch known as the Garden Route. It’s home to wide beaches and trails. The Map of Africa, a hilltop lookout point, has views of the Indian Ocean, the Outeniqua Mountains and the Kaaimans River. Nearby Wilderness Natural Park, part of the sprawling Garden Route National Park, is a habitat for wildlife including leopards, monkeys and eagles.
