The tent has a wooden deck with a forest and sea view. There is a four seater table with benches on the deck. The tent contains 1 double and 1 single bed as well as a table with 3 chairs to eat at or work at. There is also a fridge and two comfortable reading chairs inside the tent. Within the spacious tent there is also an adjoining bathroom with a hot water walk-in shower, toilet and basin. A collapsible babycot is available on request. There is a rustic outdoor shared kitchenette with a sink and gas cooker (no electricity). Here you can prepare hot beverages and simple meals. We supply mugs, plates, cutlery, pots and a water kettle; as well as coffee, tea, sugar, salt and oil. There is a small portable bbq/braai (bring charcoal). You are also welcome to bring your own braai/ bbq and set it up around the tent. Our horses and sheep are free roaming and graze around the tents for a couple of hours during the day. Our 3 dogs are friendly and playful. The electricity supply in the tent is from solar panels and batteries (no load shedding). There are 3 lights in the tent as well as a socket. (Please use the socket only for light power appliances such as phone chargers, tablets and computers, and not for a kettle, hair dryer or iron). A portable rechargeable lamp is provided for outdoor use. You can drink the water from the inside taps and kitchenette. The playground may be enjoyed by children and adults alike (at own risk). Wilderness is a high fire risk area - no open fires please! Smoking is allowed, but not inside the tent.

We value the privacy of our guests, but one of us is normally available to answer queries. We speak English, Afrikaans and German. No smoking inside the tents please, you can smoke outside.

Trees&Seas Glamping is part of our little farm. There are three tents in total and they are set upon a hill overlooking the indigenous forest of Wilderness and the spectacular Indian Ocean. Our farm is surrounded by other small holdings and farms, so the environment is friendly, communal and rural. You can walk and cycle in the vicinity (bring your bikes!) The village of Wilderness is a 5min drive or a 30min walk away - down the hill. Wilderness is a picturesque village. It is right next to the ocean and surrounded by forests, lakes and hills. The atmosphere is peaceful and rural, and yet it is only a short drive on the N2 away from the city of George. George has a mall with cinemas and a variety of shops, a vibrant city centre and an airport.
