This stylish holiday haven with sea views for ever is ideal for a discerning group of four. Only 1.3km from the enticing blue flag beach at Lappiesbaai - the perfect beach for swimming, surfing, kite surfing.... It offers comfort, peace and lovely walks in the fynbos estate or down to the beach! The views from the apartment are spectacular and the sound of the ocean magic. You absolutely feel on holiday as soon as you wake up and open the sliding windows fully to the width of the view! The two bedroom apartment (hairdryer in one room) with 2x en suite bathrooms offers enough privacy to enjoy the unit with another couple. The well appointed kitchen has everything needed: fridge, freezer, 900mm stove & gas hob , dish washer, washing machine and a tumble dryer in the garage. We understand coastal holidays! We also offer braai wood (in the garage) with an honesty box to make your arrival easier....once the fire is going all will be well. Soon we shall add other needs to our honesty box system, We are open for ideas!!
We are travellers at heart! We have enjoyed excursions through Western & Eastern Europe, UK, Canada and beautiful islands like Mauritius ....... and obviously loads of trips through Africa (on our continent) . Some holidays were in luxury and others on more basic overlanding ways - most definitaly we learned that travelling puts some worth back in you pocket!! It changes you in many ways and one becomes a better person for it. Sometimes the most scenic roads in life are the detours you didn't mean to take! (A quote from A N BLOUNT) But the biggest life lesson is "Life is beautiful when you stay in the moment...." Enjoy NOW. We are available anytime should guests need us. Any preferred communication will do. We are constantly checking.
The neighbourhood is upmarket, quiet, safe, very neat and also in mint condition. The similar building styles of the homes in the complex ooze luxury living. Not far from the unit is the Lappiesbaai Beach, fabulous river front, restaurants, coffee shops and the very popular Brugmark Saterday morning market (near the white bridge) where you can feast on amazing food, fresh produce and enjoy the traditional craft market. The festival atmosphere with some great coffee & beautiful baked goods will turn you day into a brilliant start. Make sure to visit the Eel feeding sessions 11h00 daily, absolutely interesting for young and old! The Visvywers in Skulpiesbaai reserve is another must do - all these info and much more is also found in our information file in the unit. Best way to get around in Still Bay would be by car (your rental), Smook transport (pick up and drop off) or contact us for options - we can always assist.
