My wife and I love to travel and to entertain family and friends. Greek Islands, Russia, Argentina, Italy and Okavango Delta was some of our favourite destinations that we have visited so far. We also really enjoyed Australia’s Gold Coast, Egypt and Taiwan. We can’t life without our children, good coffee, good food, good music and quality toilet paper. Our house and everything in and around our small holding is like a piece of heaven to us. Every time we get the change to relax or do some catching up on reading, our home gives us the feeling that we are on holiday.

Summer Palace Guesthouse will give you a change to slow down and absorb the natural beauty of the Free State landscape uncluttered by noise and pollution. Rooms leads to a deck, overlooking a waterhole with Koi fish. Hundreds of birds can be watched and identified around the waterhole and lush surrounding garden. Our guests will enjoy sparkling clean, air-conditioned rooms with superior quality beds, linen and towels. Our rooms have en-suite bathrooms with a bath and shower. Rooms are serviced every day. Flat screen TV with Netflix and YouTube. Bar fridge, kettle, toaster, microwave, crockery and cutlery. A Webber or gas braai is available to be used on the deck, overlooking the natural Koi dam. Good Coffee (regular and decaf), a selection of teas, fresh milk, and fruit juice are complimentary. Fast Wi-Fi.
