Saxon Park Guest Cottage is situated on a working cattle farm in the Eastern Free State. The cottage has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms as well as a lounge/dining area and fully equipped kitchen. The farm is approximately 24km from the town of Ficksburg.
Farmers wife, mother of a son and a daugther. I love farm life, caring for animals and horse riding. Dedicated to making a difference in a country that needs more kindness. We go the extra mile for our guests and cater for individual needs. You can keep to yourself here or become part of the family, whichever works for you. We cater for the different needs of our guests. Privacy is respected at all times. Should guests want to know more about the farm, we will gladly show them around and tell them more.
The farm and its surrounds are characterised by clean, fresh air, wide open spaces and clean, fresh water in ample supply. The only noise you will hear are birds chirping away in the garden and the odd cow baulking. Beautiful sunsets, clear night skies to view the stars. Peace and quite, fresh country air. We are situated ±22km from the town of Ficksburg. Reaching us will require travelling approximately 13km dirt road in reasonable condition. We can assist with travelling to and from town if necessary.
