Rooibos Retreat offers spacious accommodation that is elegantly furnished with private bathrooms, bedrooms with king, queen or double beds and all have separate entrances. Each room provides an “at home” atmosphere where you can be comfortable. The perfect location for your next business trip. We will supply you with good quality bed linen, towels, coffee, tea, milk and body wash. Please note: When Richards Bay is experiencing load shedding, Rooibos Retreat will not have electricity. We do provide lights that can be recharged. HOUSE RULES Quiet hours: Please respect other guests & neighbors. Guests need to be quiet between 21:00 PM and 08:00 AM. PETS: Please do not let the cats or dogs in your bedroom. PARTIES: Parties are not permitted at this establishment. No visitors are allowed, strictly only guests that are listed on the booking are allowed on the property. The individual making the reservation MUST be staying at the property. SECURITY: We have a CCTV system on our property for your own personal safety and security. SMOKING POLICY: No Smoking allowed in the rooms, including cigarettes and shisha. CHECK-IN & CHECK-OUT: Check-in from 3PM until 5PM - if you need to check-in later than this, arrangements should be made prior to booking. Check-out is at 9AM - late check-outs will not be accommodated. If you leave sooner, we'd really appreciate if you could inform us. REFUNDABLE BREAKAGE DEPOSIT: A refundable breakage deposit of R1000 must be paid in cash upon arrival for all bookings checking in on a Thursday, Friday and/or Saturday. This will be paid back in full within 48 hours if all is in order and no deductions need to be made due to breakages or for not adhering to the House Rules. Kindly provide your EFT details. Any violations of these rules gives us the right to cancel the reservation, even after check-in.

You will have your own entrance and interaction will be at a minimum.

We are proud of our unique place in the idyllic coastal town of Richards Bay. It is one of the closest sea destinations from Gauteng and enjoys a summer climate all year round. Guests will enjoy staying close to all nearby nature attractions with the added benefit of being in the middle of a very safe suburban area, near the city center. This is a quiet neighborhood and the property doesn't allow parties and minimum alcohol consumption is allowed.
