I am a creative person, and enjoy all art forms. I am known internationally as the person who created and made the "pictures inside cakes" method of baking. Having received an international award as the "most creative baker", I have had the honour of sending my lessons to practically every corner of the globe. From Alaska to Peru. I am well travelled, have lived in Mauritius where I ran a yacht charter business, and was also a well-known press photographer (in my youth!). I have lived a truly exciting and adventurous life, and can't wait to be able to share our stories.

Knysna is a small town, and is one of South Africa's safest places to live and holiday. I have personally lived on the property where your private apartment is situated, for 20 years, and have had a very safe and happy stay. Each new arrival of guests will find a letter that I have prepared for them, which outlines a few obvious pointers when travelling. I point out that we live a very carefree life here, and unlike big cities where one has to lock car doors and windows whilst on the road, we tend to let the fresh air in! As a suburb, Hunters Home is beautifully situated en-route to the Heads and Leisure Island. You will see the Pezula ridge from your Juliette balcony, and the Knysna Golf Course is truly just a stones throw away. A wonderful town for cyclists, with a specially built cycle track that starts near Hunters Home, and takes you past the lagoon and way out of town. A fabulous suburb to walk, enjoy the established trees, whilst most homes are exposed to the streets, allowing you to enjoy garden views. A paradise for adults, and total bliss for children.
